Tricia Penrose - Official Website

Tricia Penrose is a professional actress and singer who has appeared in many TV shows including Coronation Street, Emmerdale and reality TV show Big Brother. However, her most recognisable acting role is playing barmaid Gina Ward in the 1960s period police drama Heartbeat for 17 years. Tricia has also established a pop career by achieving UK music chart success with her singles ‘Where Did Our Love Go?” and “Don’t Wanna Be Alone’ produced by Simon Cowell. In more recent years Tricia has also won the Christmas "Stars In Their Eyes" show with a beautiful rendition of Brenda Lee's hit “Rockin Around the Christmas Tree” and has also reached the UK's Eurovision Song Contest “A Song for Europe” final during 2002.

Tricia Penrose starred in the ITV Heartbeat TV show for 17 years playing barmaid Gina Ward. With the Sunday prime time TV shows attracting audiences of over 10 million viewers per week. The nation soon become captivated with Gina's onscreen relationship to policeman Phil Bellamy played by actor Mark Jordon. Heartbeat is a 1960s period police drama based in the fictional town of Ashfordly and Aidensfield village in North Yorkshire.
